tomorrow
by preston brady
they can lock me up, throw away the keys all their keys open doors
I won’t walk
through this time I think who can get the best of me, no one
through these walls I see what they have done to a world
they, the pillagers
they, the ruination
they can put me away from society
but they will never, never no, take what’s inside of me
walking these walls of cold cement
sleeping on springs of hell’s dement
thinking the day that I will leave
It’s tomorrow, tomorrow
leavin tomorrow . .
they can push me round these bars of hate
even make me eat the vile they bake
they can try and take away my pride
but they will never, ever take tomorrow
